Services · Maintenance

Someone owns it after launch.

Monitoring, fixes, updates, and new features for the systems we build. And for the ones other vendors built and left behind.

What we cover

Maintenance that keeps systems healthy

Monitoring & alerts

Uptime, errors, and performance watched, so problems are caught before users report them.

Fixes

Bugs diagnosed at the root cause, not patched over.

Security updates

Dependencies, frameworks, and servers kept current and patched.

Changes & new features

Small improvements and new functions as your business changes.

Cloud & infrastructure

Architecture, cost, and scaling on AWS, GCP, or Cloudflare.

Deployments & backups

Automated CI/CD and tested backups, so releases and recovery are routine.

Sound familiar?

When teams call us

01

The vendor stopped responding

Support tickets go unanswered and nobody else knows the system.

02

The only developer left

The code works, but no one on the team can read or change it.

03

It keeps getting slower and breaking

Small issues pile up and each fix seems to cause another.

04

You need changes but fear breaking it

New requirements wait because no one wants to touch the code.

05

The cloud bill keeps climbing

Infrastructure grew without a plan and costs are hard to explain.

System takeover

Taking over a system someone else built

Vendor unreachable, developer gone, documentation missing. We take it on in four steps, starting by finding out what you actually have.

01

We look at it

We go through the code, the architecture, the hosting and the security to decide whether this system can be taken on as it is or should be rebuilt. From US$950 depending on system size, an answer within a week, credited in full if you go ahead.

02

Recommend

Maintain, improve, or rebuild. Each option with its cost and risk, so you choose with the facts.

03

Handover

Access secured, documentation filled in, and a repeatable deployment set up.

04

Maintain

Ongoing monitoring, fixes, and changes under one accountable team.

Plans

Maintenance plans

Prices are in US dollars, converted at NT$32 to US$1; Taiwan clients are invoiced in New Taiwan dollars, and other currencies are quoted on request. Systems we build move onto a plan when the 30-day warranty ends. A monthly plan suits fixing problems; a dedicated engineer suits a system that keeps getting new features. For systems built by someone else, we look at it first, from US$950 and credited in full if you go ahead.

Essential

US$220 / month

Monitoring, error tracking, systemic bug fixes, security updates, and dependency maintenance. Response within two working days.

    Standard

    US$440 / month

Everything in Essential, plus scheduled health checks, backup verification, and a monthly performance report. Response within one working day.

      Advanced

      US$880 / month

Everything in Standard, plus priority support, quarterly optimisation recommendations, and small feature changes. Response within four working hours.

        Dedicated engineer

        From US$4,100 / month

Cheaper than a monthly plan once work keeps arriving rather than being occasional fixes.

        • A dedicated senior full-stack engineer, from around 10 person-days a month
        • Maintenance is included in the fee, not billed separately
        • Improvements and new features run continuously against your priorities
        • Can also absorb the maintenance function for a system you already run
        • Minimum three months

        Included hours

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of technical hours; work beyond it is billed at the support or development rate.

          Add-ons

          Outside the plan

          01

          Technical support

Training, data corrections, and one-off troubleshooting once the included hours are used.

          02

          Development hours

          New features and change requests.

          03

          On-site visits

Priced per visit, including travel, with additional hours billed at the support rate.

          04

          Infrastructure

Hosting, storage, databases, and AI services are billed at actual usage, or held in your own accounts.

          FAQ

What do you need from us to start a takeover?

Access to the code repository, servers or cloud accounts, and any documentation you have. Missing documentation is common and not a blocker; rebuilding it is part of the handover.

Will you tell us to rebuild everything?

Not by default. Most systems can be maintained or improved in stages. We recommend a rebuild only when keeping the system costs more than replacing it, and we show the numbers.

          How is maintenance priced?

We look at the system before taking it on. From US$950 depending on size, an answer within a week, credited in full if you go ahead. Any price quoted before looking is a guess, so we do not quote one. The monthly maintenance fee is agreed after that.

          Which technologies do you support?

Common web, mobile and backend stacks, on AWS, GCP and Cloudflare. We tell you whether it is a fit after looking, before you commit to anything.

Do you maintain systems you did not build?

Yes. That is what the takeover process above is for.
