Engagements

How engagements are sized

Consulting is capped at 20 hours a month. If you need more than that, a dedicated team costs less per hour. Prices are in US dollars, converted at NT$32 to US$1; Taiwan clients are invoiced in New Taiwan dollars, and other currencies are quoted on request. Whatever the consulting phase produces is yours and can be handed to any vendor; it does not lock you into building with us.

Light

US$1,000 / month

Around 8 hours a month. Regular technical review and a second opinion on decisions.

    Standard

    US$1,500 / month

Around 12 hours a month. Suits the planning phase of a transformation project: interviews, workflow mapping, architecture, and a staged roadmap.

      Full

      US$2,500 / month

Up to 20 hours a month. Suits intensive planning or several projects at once, effectively an external technology department.

        Hourly

        US$125 / hour

No monthly commitment. Billed against hours actually used.

          Timeline

          How long consulting takes

          01

          You have a specification

Requirements and workflows are clear. We validate the architecture, choose the stack, and estimate effort. Typically 2 to 4 weeks.

          02

You have a direction, but no documents

Interviews, scope convergence, workflow mapping, architecture, and product definition. Typically 1 to 2 months.

          03

You have a business idea, or a cross-department system

Current-state review, business case, feasibility, staged roadmap, and architecture. Typically 2 to 3 months.

          FAQ

          How much does consulting cost?

From US$1,000 a month, or US$125 an hour against actual time used. Both are listed above; you do not have to contact us to find out the price.

Do we have to build with you afterwards?

No. The architecture, the scope definition and the effort estimate are yours, and any vendor can build from them. We do not rely on locking in the build to make consulting pay.

How soon do we see something?

It depends where you start. Two to four weeks if you already have a specification, one to two months if you have a direction but no documents, two to three months if you have a business idea only. You get a schedule after the first meeting.

What kind of company is this for?

Companies that need a system built but have no senior technical decision maker in house, and teams that already have engineers and want a second opinion. Our deepest industry experience is logistics, warehousing and distribution.

          What is the minimum commitment?

One month. There is no long-term contract. If you need more than 20 hours a month, a dedicated team costs less per hour.
